Neill Watson is a professional photographer / writer / track instructor and web designer. The phrase ‘photo-journalist’ conjures up visions of dodging bullets and eating dog food from a can with a Swiss Army Knife. Neill prefers to be known as a photographer who can drive and write. Based in the UK, he works throughout Europe and beyond. This is the online blog where you can join him on his journey.
Experience
Neill has worked within the motor and motorsport industry all of his working life. A career in the UK motor industry from 1984 until 2001 gives him a thorough knowledge of automotive subjects. He can be relied upon for accurate words, inspiring photography and an enthusiasm for the subjects of cars, driving and transportation that shows no sign of slowing down. Clients include magazine and book publishers globally and commercial assignments from large PLC’s, His driving career began on a Massey Ferguson tractor at the age of eight and has since moved on to find him instructing on tracks in the latest supercars and each winter at the remarkable Ice Driver venue in northern Sweden.. He can also be found behind the wheel on either side of the camera on photo and film locations.
When time permits, he promises to stop writing in the third person and offer a fuller account of how he arrived where he is today.
